Introduction

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of SalonGo, including the SalonGo website and related services.

SalonGo provides technical tools that help customers book appointments and help salon owners manage salon information, services, staff members, working hours, availability and appointments.

SalonGo does not itself provide barbering, hairdressing, beauty or other salon services.

Definitions

"SalonGo" means the SalonGo platform, website and related services operated under the SalonGo brand.

"Platform" means the SalonGo website and any related applications, interfaces or services made available by SalonGo.

"User" means any person who accesses or uses the Platform.

"Customer" means a User who uses SalonGo to discover salons or book appointments.

"Salon Owner" means a User who creates or manages a salon profile and related business information through SalonGo.

"Appointment" means a booking request, pending booking or confirmed booking created or managed through the Platform.

"Public Salon Page" means the publicly accessible profile page made available for a salon through SalonGo.

Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account, accessing SalonGo or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use SalonGo.

Additional terms may apply to future paid subscriptions, payment services, mobile applications or other optional features. Where applicable, such terms will be presented before the relevant feature becomes effective for you.

Eligibility

You may use SalonGo only if you have the legal capacity required to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.

If you use SalonGo on behalf of a salon, company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf.

Where applicable law requires the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian, SalonGo may be used only with that involvement or consent.

User Accounts

You must provide accurate, current and complete account information and keep it updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities carried out through your account.

You must notify SalonGo promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, misuse or a security incident affecting your account.

You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person or use an account without authorization.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing correct booking and contact information.

Customers should review appointment details carefully, arrive on time and cancel appointments they cannot attend as early as reasonably possible.

Customers must communicate respectfully with salons and may not use SalonGo for abusive, fraudulent or unlawful purposes.

Standard customer accounts are currently available free of charge.

Salon Owner Responsibilities

Salon Owners are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legality of all information they provide through SalonGo.

This includes salon names, descriptions, contact details, services, prices, staff information, working hours, availability, cancellation rules and Public Salon Page content.

Salon Owners are responsible for maintaining any licences, registrations, professional qualifications, insurance or other legal requirements applicable to their business.

Salon Owners are solely responsible for the services they offer and perform for Customers.

Appointment Booking

SalonGo provides the technical means for Customers to request or book Appointments with participating salons.

The service relationship relating to an Appointment exists directly between the Customer and the salon.

A booking may be subject to confirmation, availability and the salon's own operational rules.

SalonGo does not guarantee that a requested Appointment, service or staff member will always be available.

Cancellations and No-Shows

Customers should cancel Appointments they cannot attend using the available cancellation function or by contacting the salon.

Salons may apply their own lawful cancellation or no-show policies, provided those policies are communicated clearly to Customers.

SalonGo is not responsible for cancellation charges, no-show consequences or disputes arising from a salon's own cancellation policy.

Where SalonGo displays a cancellation status, that status reflects information recorded in the Platform and does not replace direct communication where clarification is needed.

Salon Services and Prices

Each salon determines and publishes its own services, descriptions, durations and prices.

SalonGo does not set, verify or guarantee salon prices unless expressly stated otherwise.

The salon is responsible for informing the Customer of any legally permissible change to a service or price before the service is provided.

In the current version, SalonGo does not process payments between Customers and salons.

Future Subscriptions and Paid Features

SalonGo is currently offered as a free public beta.

Standard Customer access is intended to remain free. Optional paid Customer features may be introduced in the future only with clear prior information.

After the beta phase, Salon Owners may be offered paid subscription plans for continued use of business management features.

Any price, billing period, included features, renewal rule and cancellation option will be communicated before a paid subscription becomes binding.

The current beta does not create an obligation to purchase a future paid plan.

Public Salon Pages

Salon Owners may receive a Public Salon Page displaying selected business information.

Salon Owners are responsible for ensuring that public content is accurate, lawful and does not infringe the rights of others.

SalonGo may remove or restrict content that appears unlawful, misleading, harmful, technically unsafe or inconsistent with these Terms.

SalonGo does not endorse or guarantee information published by salons on their Public Salon Pages.

Acceptable Use

You must not use SalonGo to violate any law, infringe third-party rights, distribute malicious software, send abusive content, interfere with security or gain unauthorized access.

You must not scrape, copy, reverse engineer, overload or automatically query the Platform in a way that harms its operation or other Users, except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.

You must not manipulate bookings, create fraudulent Appointments or misuse account, salon or Customer information.

User Content

Users retain ownership of content they lawfully submit to SalonGo.

By submitting content, you grant SalonGo a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and technically process that content only as necessary to operate, secure and improve the Platform.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions required to submit the content.

You remain responsible for your content and for claims arising from it.

SalonGo Intellectual Property

The SalonGo name, logo, software, design, source code, interface, documentation and original Platform content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of SalonGo intellectual property to Users.

You may use the Platform only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.

Platform Availability

SalonGo aims to provide a reliable Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available operation.

Access may be limited because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, security measures, third-party outages or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

SalonGo may modify, replace, suspend or discontinue individual features where reasonably necessary, while taking legitimate User interests into account.

Public Beta

SalonGo is currently provided as a public beta.

During the beta phase, features may be added, changed, limited or removed, and temporary errors or interruptions may occur.

Where technically necessary, beta data structures may be corrected, migrated or reorganized. SalonGo will take reasonable measures to avoid unnecessary data loss.

Users should verify important Appointment and business information and maintain any records they are legally or operationally required to keep.

The Platform should not be used as the only legally required archive or business record during the beta phase.

Third-Party Services

SalonGo relies on third-party providers for services such as hosting, authentication, database infrastructure and analytics.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

SalonGo is not responsible for independent third-party services that are not controlled by SalonGo, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Events Beyond Reasonable Control

SalonGo is not responsible for delays, interruptions or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

Such events may include widespread internet or telecommunications failures, electricity outages, failures of essential third-party infrastructure, cyberattacks despite reasonable security measures, natural disasters, epidemics, war, labour disputes or binding actions by public authorities.

This provision does not exclude liability where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy and Data Protection

The processing of personal data by SalonGo is described in the Privacy Policy available at https://salongo.io/privacy.

Users must handle personal data obtained through SalonGo lawfully, securely and only for appropriate purposes.

Salon Owners are responsible for their own data protection obligations when processing Customer information for their salon business.

Suspension and Termination

SalonGo may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of these Terms, unlawful activity, fraud, security risks, non-payment of future fees or legal requirements.

Where appropriate, SalonGo will consider the severity of the issue and may provide notice or an opportunity to remedy it before termination.

Users may stop using SalonGo at any time and may request account deletion, subject to legal retention obligations.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, responsibility and liability provisions, remain effective.

Liability

SalonGo provides the technical Platform and is not a party to the service contract between a Customer and a salon.

SalonGo is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, availability, price or outcome of services performed by salons.

SalonGo is not responsible for inaccurate salon information, missed Appointments, Customer no-shows or disputes between Customers and salons, except to the extent SalonGo itself caused the relevant damage and liability applies under law.

SalonGo is liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraudulent concealment, guarantees expressly assumed and liability under mandatory product liability law.

In cases of ordinary negligence involving a material contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

Changes to These Terms

SalonGo may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, for example because of legal changes, new features, security requirements or changes to the business model.

The current version and update date will be published on this page.

Where required by law or where a change materially affects Users, SalonGo will provide appropriate notice before the change takes effect.

Changes will not apply retroactively unless required by law or expressly agreed.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

For consumers, this choice of law does not remove mandatory protections granted by the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.

Mandatory rules on jurisdiction remain unaffected.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms is wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.

The invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced by the applicable statutory rule.

Individual agreements expressly made between SalonGo and a User take precedence over these standard Terms.
